Registrar Lock in Shared Web Hosting
Locking and unlocking a domain name registered through our company is very easy. This can be done through the Hepsia Control Panel, which comes with our Linux shared web hosting packages, and will require literally two mouse clicks. All your domain names will be listed in alphabetical order in the Domain Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel and next to those whose extensions support the domain lock option, you will see a padlock-like icon. Click on it once and you will notice the present status of the domain. Click for the second time and you will alter its status. The update will propagate instantly without the need for you or for us to do anything else for the status to be updated on WHOIS lookup websites, so you can initiate the transfer right away.
Registrar Lock in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Administering your domain names with our company is very easy and the registrar lock option is not an exception. In case you’ve got a semi-dedicated server account, you will be able to administer the domains registered through our company using the exact same Control Panel via which you’ll administer your web hosting account. For your convenience, the domains will be listed in alphabetical order and on the right-hand side you’ll see a padlock icon if the particular domain supports the registrar lock option. If you click on the icon, you’ll see if the particular domain name is locked or not and you will be able to update this status by clicking once more. The status will be changed immediately and you will be able to start the transfer procedure without needing to wait for the update to be shown on WHOIS lookup websites or for us to do anything on our end.
